Van Rideshare Program – Student FAQ (Starting January 2026)


1. What is the KPC rideshare program?

Starting January 2026, Kempsville Presbyterian Church will offer free transportation for Regent University students to and from our 10 AM Sunday service each week. The church van will pick students up from Regent University campus and return them afterward. Preference will be given to undergraduate students and/or students will lack adequate, reliable transportation. 

2. How do students sign up?

Students can sign up through the official KPC Rideshare form located below.

3. What time is pickup?

Pickup is typically between 9:30 - 9:45 AM depending on campus traffic and the number of students who sign up. You will be notified of the exact times and pickup locations once your seat is confirmed. 

4. Where is the pickup location?

Students will be picked up at a designated on-campus spot. (Exact location to be determined)

Regent University Village: Front of the Community Room

Regent University Commons (Constitution or Foundation): Front of the Bridge

5. What time is the return to campus?

We will depart the church around 15 minutes after the service, and drop students back at the same location where they were picked up.

6. Does the Rideshare program cost anything?

No—this ministry is completely FREE for students. 

7. Who is driving the van?

Only approved KPC staff, Church deacons, or volunteers who have completed our driver screening and training process will be driving.

8. Is the program weekly?

 Yes, the rideshare will run every Sunday, throughout the Spring 2026 semester, unless otherwise announced (for example, holiday weekends or severe weather updates).

9. Can students bring friends?

Absolutely! They just need to make sure their friends also sign up through the rideshare form so we can reserve enough seats.

11. Is KPC allowed to have a church rideshare program on Regent University's campus?

Yes, Regent University has given Kempsville Presbyterian Church permission to do so.
