Worship Arts

The Worship Arts Ministry of KPC is dedicated to bringing glory to the Lord through the full expression of praise and worship.  Psalm 149 gives a clear understanding that singing, dancing, musical instruments, and the declaration of the Word of God invite an atmosphere for the Presence of God to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit to both the believer and those who are yet to come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  At KPC, worshipers of every generation are welcomed and encouraged to offer their gifts through the opportunities listed below.  Come join us as we present a sacrifice of praise and acts of worship to the only One found worthy.

Many ways to worship...

Currently, the group comprises 13 singers who meet every Wednesday night for one hour to rehearse and pray. There is no audition for this group; instruction on musical reading and other skills is provided through weekly rehearsals. Arise Dance

Let's Praise His Name With Dancing
Psalm 149: 3
Through the glorious gift of dance, ARISE DANCE MINISTRY seeks to proclaim the majesty and glory of our Living God. As ministers responding to the Call of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, our hearts are dedicated to knowing Him, sharing, and declaring His infinite love for all peoples everywhere. Using various dance techniques, pageantry, and movement in intercessory prayer, praise, and worship, we dance in the joy of salvation, courage, and hope. All are welcome to join us - men and women, teens and adults.

Celebration Orchestra

Celebration Orchestra seeks adults and students with at least two years of playing experience (grades 6-12). Adults, maybe you haven't picked up your instrument in a while, but you want to begin playing again to "get back in shape". This group provides a wonderful opportunity to develop individual and group musical skills while glorifying and serving God with the Worship Arts Ministries. Celebration Orchestra accompanies vocal and choral groups and provides stand-alone pieces. Instruments include strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, keyboards, and rhythm section. All musicians must have at least a middle-school level of musicianship needed. Members must commit to weekly rehearsals and occasional extras for special worship ministry events. Our music may be a stand-alone orchestra and accompaniments with a choir or other vocal groups. We accept new members at any time.

Our goal is to bless the hearing and the deaf with music and signing that brings glory to Jesus. We welcome believers, both men, and women, deaf, hearing, or HOH, ages 16 and up. A knowledge of ASL is helpful but not required.
