What’s Trailer City?
We’re so glad you asked! It’s a low-income community of people in need right here in Virginia Beach.
It’s great to tell Trailer City residents God loves them, but to make His message “real,” we want to help them experience God’s love and provision. So, we use words and actions to communicate the Good News!
Truth is—Trailer City is full of wonderful people who are fun to hang around. It’s hard to be with them without having a good time.
Here are the types of things we do together: |

Painting Days—
As a practical display of God’s love, we take large amounts of paint, brushes, buckets, and people to Trailer City and do our best to transform trailers—inside and out!
Cookouts—
All about building community, these events are never boring! Along with the fun of roasting hot dogs, we usually end the day gathered around an open fire, guitars in hand, singing all kinds of music. It’s a blast!

Movie Nights—If watching a family movie on a big screen under the stars sounds like a good time, you won’t want to miss these movie nights. Bring a lawn chair, some snacks, and join the fun!
Life Groups—We’ve held Life Group meetings at Trailer City before and would like to continue. Let us know if you are interested in getting involved!
Short-Term Mission Trip—KPC is sponsoring a short-term mission trip to Trailer City this year, with plans for additional trips being considered.
Want to share God’s love at Trailer City? We’d love to have you join us!
