Opportunities to Bless KPC Ministries

A ministry like KPC takes a lot of financial support to carry out the work of the Kingdom.  While consistent offerings to the General Fund take care of the day-to-day workings of the ministry, we are grateful for the cheerful givers who are led to give special offerings to specific ministries.  If you’d like to contribute to a specific ministry, please make a note on the “memo” line of your check or on your giving envelope.

Giving opportunities at KPC include:

 

Leana Fay/Will Wilkinson Scholarship Fund
This scholarship fund helps KPC families who are faithfully pursuing Christian education.  For the 2008/09 school year, this fund awarded $65,000 to 44 students. This ministry is totally supported by donations.

   

Short Term Mission (OSL) trips
Every year we send 7-15 teams to West Asia, Eastern Europe, and other locations to collaborate with long-term missionaries to help them progress in their work.  Donations are essential as each team is responsible for raising their own support.

 

International Missions
Missionaries rely financially on the support of loving givers.  KPC currently supports about thirty missionaries (families or singles) to seventeen countries.   

 

Deacons Benevolence Team
This team, part of our Deacons ministry, provides short-term financial assistance to the KPC family in times of crisis.

 

Food Pantry
Staffed by deacons and volunteers, the Food Pantry distributes food to those in our community who are in need.  Financial donations, as well as contributions of non-perishable foods, are welcome. 

 

Clothing Closet
This team, staffed by deacons and volunteers, distributes donated clothing and household items to those in our community who are in need.  Financial donations, as well as contributions of clothing and household items, are welcome.
