KPC Purchases The Brown Farm

The following is the text of a congregational email sent out on December 23, 2009

We are now across the Jordan! Late yesterday, our KPC Trustees signed closing documents and, along with Legacy, we now own the 500-plus acres of the Brown Farm.

I want to reiterate that this would not have been possible without your faith. We all know that the Lord accomplished a miracle way beyond our imagination, but it was the faith of the congregation deciding to step forward over two years ago that put the ball in motion. Every one of you who gave even one dollar to the capital campaign, voted to move the congregation forward, or prayed even one prayer that God would look upon us with favor . . . are an important part of the miracle.

Faith, unity, and the amazing providence of God . . . these are the things we must continue to remember as we move forward. But today is a day to celebrate. God has given KPC a wonderful Christmas present . . . a future now filled with almost limitless ministry possibilities.

I hope to see you at the Christmas Eve worship gathering
(7 PM—but refreshments and other festivities begin at 6:30 PM), and together we’ll celebrate the greatest Gift of all . . . the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior. I remain,

Always hopeful,

Nate Atwood
Lead Pastor KPC
