From: S. Z. I dream of plenty of handicapped parking, handicapped accessible doors (with the push button that opens the doors)  and handicapped seating in the sanctuary.

Imagine a facility with space to accommodate an office and a clinical area where faith community nurses can work with parishioners doing health screenings, counseling, teaching, developing support groups , developing a program for volunteers who minister to families at need. Imagine a church which supports a full time RN staff person who acts as a resource for parishioners trying to navigate the health care system!  Imagine  having an RN Parishioner Advocate who leads the way to integration of faith and health in order to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical dimensions of a person! Imagine a holistic approach to healthcare with the intentional care of the Spirit- Just imagine how such a plan will flow into every area of life, affecting prevention of disease and promotion of good health practices. Imagine- a well equipped Health Care Center with Christ as the focal point wherein persons are met at a deeper spiritual level and helped to recovery of their physical and spiritual pain! Imagine  Faith Community nurses available to support pastoral care through a co-operative collaborative effort which lends to maximizing pastoral effectiveness! Imagine- having a Center for Healthy Aging with modules that focus on assisting people to a better life -serving those who are going through transition and introducing them to the spiritually of aging!!
Imagine having Community Faith nurses who can act as catalysts in supporting education, training, & resources to clergy staff as well as  to persons in the congregation!!

Imagine having access to an advocate who understands the meaning of physical, spirtual, and emotional health and is there to help on an individual basis as a member of God's family.

Imagine having a well equipped  emergency receiving area within the church building that is there to receive briefly someone who is in need of care until Paramedics arrive. This is a dream- and one day will be a reality!!!!
