If you love kids and want to pour the love of Jesus into the lives of little ones, we have a place for you! We need teachers and helpers in our nursery, preschool, and grade school ministries. Training and curriculum are on us! We also need volunteers to serve during the week to send emails, organize craft/supplies, copy curriculum, and much more! If you have a few hours a week to serve or can commit to one Sunday a month as teacher/helper, email Kim at sotok@kpc.org.

VBS is coming to KPC on July 10-14 from 8:30 AM – Noon!

To make it a success, we’ll need set designers and builders, administrative help, small group leaders and helpers, snack makers, and more. Learn details at our informational meeting on June 4 directly after service in the Fellowship Hall. Let’s reach our kids and the community and make this a family affair! If you can’t make the meeting but can help, email Kim at sotok@KPC.org.

Children’s Ministry at KPC is a vital part of our vision and we welcome children of all ages from infants to teens. We delight in the spiritual growth of our kids and purpose to extend the love of Jesus in and through each of them with Biblical teaching, parents and devoted volunteers, and a safe and secure environment.

Our heart – why we do what we do – is to introduce and cultivate the love of Christ and compassion for others in each and every child. With the Bible as our foundation, children experience, grow, and learn to serve alongside teachers, peers, family members, and volunteers through games, music, Biblical stories, collaborative play, and student leadership.

We strive to partner with parents and our family of volunteers to meet the needs of each child. It is paramount to our program that families feel involved, loved, and understood.

Likewise, we are highly intentional about your child’s safety while you are worshiping at KPC. That’s why we use the KID-CHECK program. Every child (infant to 5th grade) is checked-in via computer stations in the lobby prior to the service. The child receives a family alphanumeric ID on a sticker that is worn by the child during service. Parents receive a matching sticker. If at any time during the service the child needs their parent/guardian, we are able to easily access you via an electronic alert that posts your child’s ID on the bottom corner of the screen in the sanctuary. This ID also ensures that your child is leaving with his or her proper guardian at pick-up after the service.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to KPC!

Please feel free to contact us with comments, questions, and/ or concerns about our ministry, including ways you might like to serve, at sotok@kpc.org. We’re happy to hear from you and glad to help.
